RezBase

RezBase is a web-based hotel and entertainment facility reservation system. It allows hotel and facility owners to easily manage availability and reservations without installing any software other than what's required to access web-pages over the Internet.

The public interface for users wanting to make a reservation had to be simple and easy to use. For this it was decided a web-based "wizard" approach would work best.

Since a lot of information is required to make a reservation, (date, accomodation type, number of nights, etc.) it was decided to split the task accross three pages. The user can easily see which step they are at and can navigate back to a previous step if they prefer. Step 3 is a "confirmation" step providing the users with a summary of the information entered so they can review for errors before clicking on the "Create Reservation" button. If their request is successful, the next step is "Credit Card Entry".

Icons and colors are used to make the application easy to use and provide a friendly look and feel.
